American Idol Top Seven
« on: February 16, 2010, 11:24:53 PM »
Tonight on American Idol the top seven of the twenty-four were found out.

I did get all but one person's last name:

Michael Lynche
DiDi
Katelynn Epperly
Casey James (I loved his voice...JMO)
Aaron Kelley
Lee Dewyze
Todrick Hall

Good Luck tomorrow night to the remaining 17 idol's that are chosen.
May your day be filled with blessings!

I'm just glad that bossy girl in room 2 did not make it. She had that short hair and was very sure she was going into the final 24. She should not have bragged so much.  ::)

Did anyone else think last night's show was boring?
They dragged it out too long.
Also, I thought they use to pick the top 24 in one night. I don't remember this taking two nights to do but then maybe we didn't use to see the contestants separated into the 3 groups on the same night.
I hope tonight's show is a little more entertaining.
I'm thinking I may end up watching it from my recording if it seems boring so I can FF through most of it.

I agree, I taped the Olympics aftrer midnight so I wouldn't miss AI and then I was pissed because it was a waste of my time.

Tonight's show wasn't quite as boring. Of course it was an hour shorter so maybe that helped.
I can't wait for the actual show to start next week.
Some of my favorites made it through and some I thought were pretty bad made it through like the last girl they picked.
I'm not sure what the judges see in her. I thought the last girl who didn't make it had a much nicer voice.
I don't think this girl will go too far but we'll see.
I really like Katie Stevens and what's even nicer about her is the fact that she comes from a town not that far from where I live.
"If" she does well and gets down to the top 3 when they do their return home trip, I'll probably try and go see her.
That's a long ways away and maybe she won't make it that far but I'm hoping she does.

Maria ITA with your comment, but she really was good.
ITA Sheryl, it was way too dragged out. I also loved Katie Stevens, her wish to succeed for her grandmother was wonderful. I think she just may make it that far.

Wow---30 million viewers, that amazed me.
Add To The Top 24 List:

Janell Weeler
Tyler Grady
Lacey Brown (2nd attempt, made it that far last year....glad she made it this year).
Ashley Rodriquez
Alex Lambert (any connection to Adam?)
Joe Munoz
Crystal B. ( loved her raspy voice...jmo).
Kate Stevens (yes Sheryl, she is wonderful)
Lilly Scott (thumbs up on her unique voice.....jmo)
Page Miles
Chavon M.
Michelle D.
Jermain Seller
John Park
Haley (over Tori Kelly, man no, I liked her alot...jmo)
Andrew Garcia
As for 24...the show moved so fast, I caught his name at the end of the show. Tim Urban

So sad about Angela Martin, her 3rd try. She didn't make it. I was near tears for her.

Also so sad for Thadious Johnson. He wanted it so bad (he was great...jmo). His mother had been there through to the finish.

Good Luck for these 24 American Idol's.
May your day be filled with blessings!

I cannot get interested in the show this season.  I guess I've had other things on my mind.  But I am in total agreement, I think that cute 16-17 year old gal Katie should go all the way.  She has an awesome voice for someone that young.  As for the other 23, I don't see any that stand out, like I did last year.

I read where one of the 24 was removed, a guy by the name of Crhis something or other and they replaced him with Urban. Anyone know why?

Not sure who was removed, I thought it was big Mike but it was because his dad let it slip that he made it to the 24 and it was a breach of the contract

I hope they didn't bring back the guy who walked off the show in tears the other night and who's mother seems to be his biggest supporter.
He wasn't bad but his mother was getting on my nerves, lol. I'm not sure I could take a season with her.

Puchie,
Yes Chris was removed because he already had a singing contract. That's why Tim Urban was put in, and why I didn't catch his name, until the 12 girl's and 12 guy's were shown for next week.

I read Chris, the one that was let go, didn't have a contract at the time he auditioned.  He contract was over a short time before he auditioned.  The producers of American Idol found out their mistake but couldn't go back because they had already replaced him.

So who did you vote for last night? I thought Crystal did a magnificent job, and her breaking down at the end, touched me.
Lee has always been consistant, I love his voice.
Big Mike was wonderful. Even Aaron did a good job w/his song choice.

Though even though what the judges said to Casey~~~~I really enjoyed listening to him.

I confess to voting for Casey 3 times~~~~and being somewhat torn, I also voted once for Lee.
I look forward to tonight's 2 hour special: American Idol gives back.
May your day be filled with blessings!

Like I implied in another post, I thought they were all horrible, lol except for Aaron.
I didn't vote and probably won't vote for the rest of the season because I think they all should go home, lol.
This is the worst season ever, in my opinion.
